Palmore Scores 16 Points!
Spartans coach Antonio Brown wasn’t exactly thrilled with his team’s shootout win over the Atlanta Legends on Saturday night. “I think we are getting to the point I always knew we could be,” said Brown, excited by his teams great play with a blow out win 77-60 over the Atlanta Legends. William Tolefree (6’6”-F, college: St.Catharine), who led the Spartans with 16 points and 8 rebounds, returning from Europe this month.
The Spartans won for the fifth time in six games, handing the Legends their eighth loss of the season.
Keenan Palmore (6’1”-G-94, college: Lenoir-Rhyne) added 16 points and 7 assists in the win. Dante Turnipseed (6’0”-PG-90, college: Tenn Wesleyan) had 18 points and 5 rebounds in a losing effort for the Legends.
