Spartans coach Antonio Brown wasn’t exactly thrilled with his team’s shootout win over the Southern Generals on Saturday night. “I didn’t think we played well at all,” said Brown, disappointed by his club’s defensive effort as both squads set season scoring highs in Spartan’s 100-110 victory. Bernard Parks (6’3”-SG-90, college: Point, GA), who led the Spartans with 27 points and 10 assists, also acknowledged the Spartans lack of focus,”We have to do better if we want to win our first championship” Parks said. The Spartans won for the fifth time in six games, handing the Generals their first loss of the season. Glen Rice Jr. (6’6”-G/F-91, college: Georgia Tech, agency: Octagon Europe) added 16 points and 7 rebounds and Tay Stokes has 12 in the win. Jamorris Gaines (6’7”-F-90, college: Albany St.) had 30 points and 12 rebounds, and Ron Blossomgame (6’9”-C/F-89, college: Middle Georgia) added 12 points.
